Boys Town in Estherville, IA is hiring a Youth Transport & Visitation Specialist to safely transport youth and supervise family visits. The role includes guiding parents, documenting visits, and reporting safety concerns, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Starting pay is $17.00–$20.00/hr for full-time hours and a $2,500 hiring bonus. Benefits include medical, retirement, vacation, and tuition assistance as part of a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in youth care or human services.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Registration check.
• Ability to drive for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete travel requirements of the job.
• Meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting youth to and from family visits.
• Supervising visits to ensure safe, appropriate interactions.
• Guiding parents with constructive engagement and redirection.
• Documenting visits and reporting behaviors or safety concerns.
• Building trust with families to support positive outcomes.
