Lutheran Services Florida, Inc. is seeking Youth Mentors to supervise and support at-risk youth in multiple regional group homes across Florida. The role involves direct care, safety, and transporting youth to activities.

The ideal candidate will work with youth who have experienced trauma and abuse, serving as a mentor and positive role model in a structured setting. This is a frontline service delivery position with opportunities to affect change daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalency completion certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive environment for youth.
• Assists children with preparing and eating meals, taking baths, maintaining hygiene, administering medication, and daily duties.
• Transports youth for appointments or field trips outside the facility.
• Develops, coordinates, and participates in daily recreational and social activities.
• Consults with staff concerning behavior issues and needs of children.
• Participate in implementation and monitoring of client case plans.
• Interviews and responds to critical incidents and documentations.
