Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. seeks a part-time clinician to join Piedmont Newton Hospital in Georgia. The position is 24 hours weekly with shifts Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, focusing on wound and ostomy care.

The role includes assessment, treatment, and patient education for acute and chronic wounds, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff and ancillary teams to plan and perform care. BCLS and Georgia licensure are required, with CEU maintenance encouraged.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing/physical therapy/occupational therapy program.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in wound/ostomy care and management preferred.
• Experience in research, data analysis, and editing collateral preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with wounds, ostomy care, fistulae, skin and incontinence.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to plan and perform patient care.
