Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to support clients within the Georgia jurisdiction. This role manages lost time workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution while ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant claim handling.

The adjuster will investigate claims, evaluate liability and exposure, maintain reserves, and support claim resolution strategies, including coordination with defense counsel.

Qualifications

• Lost time workers' compensation claims experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a desk and caseload of workers' compensation claims efficiently and professionally.
• Investigate claims including coverage, liability, and exposure analysis.
• Evaluate claim exposure and maintain accurate reserves.
• Manage litigation activity and coordinate with defense counsel as needed.
• Evaluate claims for settlement and negotiate resolutions with claimants and attorneys.
• Monitor medical treatment activity and claim progression.
• Maintain organized claim documentation in the claims system.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim payments.
• Support timely and compliant claim resolution strategies.
• Maintain communication with employers, injured workers, attorneys, medical providers, and clients.
• Participate in required state training and stay updated on statutes.
