Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Ability to manage databases and CMS platforms.
• Detail-oriented, diligent and flexible.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing claims in line with firm policies.
• Ensure CMS feed is cleared daily.
• Complete tasks by relevant deadlines.
• Document all activity in CMS properly.
• Clear daily emails and manage communications.
• Maintain and organize claim files.
• Answer client, provider and adjuster calls as needed.
• Request and follow up on medical records and bills.
• Review incoming mail, emails and faxes.
• Name documents per conventions and save correctly.
• Upload documents to the proper CMS tab.
• Assist attorneys and claim specialists with admin duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
