Job summary

ServiceSource in the United States is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to support individuals with disabilities in direct labor positions and to compose and review documentation for supports provided.

You will coordinate with local case management agencies to facilitate total program services, maintain compliance with Medicaid and funding bodies, and travel to multiple locations as needed. Strong writing and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, training, and writing skills required.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the vocational and non-vocational needs of assigned individuals are being met.
• Complete required documentation, such as Person-Centered Plans and Individual Eligibility Evaluations, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain familiarity with Medicaid, HCBS, CARF, AbilityOne, and other entities to ensure compliance with such bodies.
• Reconcile both bi-weekly and monthly cycle attendance reports.
• Provide training to and coordinate with operational personnel to ensure the proper implementation of vocational supports.
