Job summary

Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technologist/Limited Scope Operator to perform basic X-rays in a busy urgent care setting. You will support physicians with high-quality imaging, maintain radiology safety, and assist with patient care and routine testing.

Ideal candidates have a Radiology Technologist License or Limited Scope Operator Certification, ARRRT license, and CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Radiology Technologist License or Limited Scope Operator Certification.
• ARRT License and CPR/AED certification are required.
• Experience performing radiographic procedures in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Process and send radiographs for radiologist review according to clinic protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols including protective equipment usage.
• Follow clinic policies and state regulations on radiation exposure and patient confidentiality.
• Inspect and maintain X-ray equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
• Assist with patient care duties including intake, vital signs, and room preparation.
• Conduct injections, phlebotomy, and EKGs as needed.
• Prepare patients and equipment for radiology procedures and maintain equipment.
