Job summary

COA Network Inc. is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Williamstown, Kentucky, to provide individualized educational support to students with visual impairments under a contract arrangement.

The TVI will develop and implement IEPs, deliver specially designed instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers to address each student’s educational needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Kentucky teaching certificate for the assigned position.
• Experience with IEP design and special education procedures strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and specially designed instruction.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP services.
