BridgePrep Academy Broward, located in Hollywood, FL, seeks a 2026-27 Third Grade Writing and History Teacher to join our elementary faculty. This on-site role requires a Florida teaching certification and a commitment to data-driven growth in a rigorous, inclusive academic setting.

The teacher will plan standards-aligned lessons, analyze student data, and engage families while balancing strong social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• Active Florida State Teaching Certification.
• Strong classroom management, lesson adaptation, organization, and interpersonal communication.
• Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• Prior instructional experience in a K-12 classroom setting.
• Familiarity with Florida learning standards and FAST exam preparation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate standards-aligned, rigorous lessons for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning and update gradebooks weekly.
• Build strong partnerships with families with weekly progress updates.
• Maintain a positive behavior system aligned with school initiatives.
• Use technology as an educational tool and host targeted tutoring.
• Commit 40+ hours per week to instruction, meetings, and PD.
