Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, Illinois is hiring a Team Lead, Integrated Housing Services to provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of community support and recovery services across four residential settings.

This role oversees supervisors and multidisciplinary teams delivering individualized mental health and substance use treatment, ensuring services are trauma-informed, recovery‑oriented, and aligned with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required.
• Must be eligible for licensure as LCPC or LCSW in Illinois.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance required.
• Experience supervising residential or community-based behavioral health programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to the team of community support and recovery support team members.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, case consultations, and supervision to ensure quality service delivery.
• Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee the development and implementation of Individualized Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATPs) for clients.
• Provide and support delivery of individual and group mental health and substance use treatment services within residential settings.
• Ensure services are trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and responsive to the needs of individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Coordinate services across residential locations to ensure consistent implementation of community support and recovery services.
• Collaborate with outpatient providers, medical staff, and other internal programs to ensure continuity of care.
• Support transitions into and out of residential services and promote successful community integration.
• Promote housing stability by ensuring residents receive appropriate life-skills support, recovery services, and clinical care.
• Assist staff in addressing barriers related to mental health, substance use, daily living, and community functioning.
• Encourage resident engagement in treatment, recovery programming, and community activities.
• Ensure documentation, service delivery, and program operations meet agency policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor service quality, productivity, and outcomes related to residential and recovery support services.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts within residential programs.
• Serve as a liaison between residential programs, clinical teams, and agency leadership.
• Promote strong communication among staff supporting residents across locations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate care and address resident needs.
