Alta Environmental & Infrastructure seeks a skilled Survey CAD Designer/Drafter to join our surveying team in Arizona. You will prepare survey documents, maps, and drawings using CAD, collaborating with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate representation of data.

The role requires an associate degree or CAD certification and experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, with strong surveying knowledge and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent CAD certification required.
• Experience as a Survey CAD technician in civil engineering or related field.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
• Strong surveying principles, terminology, and data handling.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in drafting drawings.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and clients.
• Problem-solving and adaptability to project changes.
• Knowledge of civil engineering codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed survey drawings, plats, and maps from field data using CAD.
• Collaborate with surveyors and project managers to meet specs.
• Process and validate field survey data for accuracy.
• Prepare legal descriptions and boundary surveys.
• Create and update topographic maps, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Verify data consistency and generate survey reports.
• Stay current with CAD technology and industry practices.
• Assist in resolving technical CAD-related issues for the team.
