Job summary

The Pivot Group Network seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer in Otsego, MI to develop and manage supplier quality improvements. You will audit suppliers, investigate issues, and collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new parts.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in supplier quality within manufacturing, a strong working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF 16949 and core tools, and the ability to read GD&T drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 3–5 years in supplier quality or manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Experience with supplier audits and 8D root-cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new suppliers and parts.
• Monitor and report supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement for supplier quality processes.
• Participate in supplier selection and evaluation.
• Ensure suppliers meet industry and regulatory standards.
