Job summary

Anova Education is seeking an ESY Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The teacher will deliver direct instruction, monitor student progress, and collaborate with staff to ensure student needs are met during the Extended School Year Program in Danville, Virginia. A valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education is required, along with experience working with students with disabilities and IEPs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities across a range of needs preferred.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and behavior supports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver specially designed instruction aligned to students’ IEP goals.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior intervention plans.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals during the ESY session.
• Provide a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students.
