Job summary

Kentucky River Community Care in Letcher County is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Clinician to provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis interviews, and to deliver individual and group counseling for adults and families.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, develop treatment plans, coordinate with external agencies, and maintain documentation. This regular full-time role supports a CHFS-funded program with required credentials.

Qualifications

• Credentials in social work or counseling required.
• Experience counseling individuals and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis interviews of consumers.
• Provide individual and group counseling/therapy to consumers and families.
• Provide psychosocial evaluations.
• Provide treatment planning and termination summaries as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide consultation/education/emergency services.
• Provide outpatient appointment and follow up with appropriate service agencies as required.
• Work with Consumer Access Specialist to ensure daily schedule is full to meet consumer needs and required professional time standards.
• Participate with process improvement activities as directed by program needs.
• Prepare and maintain necessary reports and service documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by division director, program director (if applicable) and/or administrative supervisor.
