Job summary

ESS is hiring Substitute Paraprofessionals in Mill Hall, PA for roles supporting classroom teachers and students with special needs. The position involves providing instructional reinforcement and assisting with supervision across school activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with lesson delivery, managing classroom routines, and handling administrative tasks while following IEPs/504 plans and district policies. This is a part-time substitute role with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Clearances and background checks listed in qualifications.
• Ability to assist with classroom guidance and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision.
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and materials.
• Supervise students in cafeteria, hallways, and during activities and trips.
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Support students with special needs per IEPs/504 Plans.
• Perform other duties as directed by the teacher and administration.
