Job summary

Cardinal Recovery, LLC is seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor (CDCA/LCDC) to provide individual and group counseling, complete accurate documentation, and participate in treatment planning and case coordination. The ideal candidate will hold a CDCA, with LCDC preferred, and commit to quality care in recovery.

This role requires collaboration with case managers and staff, adherence to Ohio regulations, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to pursue certification as needed.

Qualifications

• CDCA certification required; LCDC preferred.
• Experience providing individual and group counseling.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Willingness to pursue Certified Case Manager when eligible.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group counseling services to clients
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of all services provided
• Participate in treatment planning and case coordination
• Maintain compliance with state and agency regulations
• Collaborate with case managers, drivers, and other staff as needed
• Active CDCA required (LCDC preferred) in the state of Ohio
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Willingness to complete requirements to become a Certified Case Manager (if not already certified)
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
