Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Structural Engineer for our Ohio offices (Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, and Jacksonville, FL). You will analyze, design, and deliver structural systems across a diverse project portfolio, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality engineering solutions.

You will work on new construction, renovations, and restoration projects, mentoring junior staff and contributing to project leadership while expanding your technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience.
• EIT/EI certification required; PE/SE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, timber and other systems for new construction, renovations, and additions.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Develop structural models and project documentation using Revit and other software.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines.
• Support field investigations, condition assessments, and construction administration activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in site visits and project meetings.
