Job summary

AArete offers a Consulting Intern role for Summer 2027, gaining hands-on experience across healthcare, financial services, retail, and more. You will work with clients to identify critical issues, develop strategies, and leverage data analytics including Excel and SQL to drive actionable outcomes.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, receive mentorship from seasoned consultants, and contribute to real projects that impact client success and internal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student entering third year or fourth year in a 5-year program (Spring 2028 Grad).
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be able to spend the summer in our downtown Chicago office, in office daily during the dates of June 7 - August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that push the boundaries of innovation
• Partner with your cohort of interns on a pro-bono consulting project, supporting a non-profit organization to improve operational efficiency
• Work directly with AAretians across levels
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis for clients
• Gain insight from analysis and data interpretation to identify client savings opportunities and put together an actionable business case
• Prepare deliverables to project leadership for final review
• Work with our consulting teams to dissolve real world problems for clients
• Understand business-specific context of clients
