Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is offering a full-time and a part-time Environmental Services Technician position at our store. You’ll be responsible for making the store look its best to customers through housekeeping and janitorial work.

The Full Time EST works four consecutive ten-hour days; the Part Time EST works the remaining three days, also ten hours a day. You’ll do dusting, mopping, sweeping, polishing, and you’ll be trained to use buffers and floor scrubbers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep stores clean: dusting, mopping, sweeping and polishing.
• Train to use buffers and floor scrubbers as part of duties.
• Handle trash and bathrooms; follow task outlines and safety policies.
