Guidehouse is seeking a candidate to support State and Local Government clients across diverse areas from economic development to technology strategy. The role involves working with states, counties, cities, and non-profits to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable results.

The position involves travel up to 25% and requires an undergraduate degree with ongoing enrollment through Fall 2026 and graduation by Summer 2027. Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
• Minimum Degree Status: Undergraduate Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027)
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country
• No current or future sponsorship is available for this position
• Demonstrates knowledge in and passion for improving state and local government through academic courses and project work
• Preferred degree programs include business, public policy, urban planning, economics, engineering, math, computer science, and environmental science/studies
• Demonstrates proven success and thorough skills to define and lead client-work including conducting baseline assessments, building a future state vision, developing implementation plans, managing multiple stakeholders, and communicating with varying audiences
• Demonstrates proven success and thorough knowledge of key facets of state and local government, including the following: sustainability, urban planning, education, housing, transportation, justice, and/or administration
• Demonstrates proven success and thorough knowledge of core management consulting skills such as project management, financial modeling, operational modeling, and stakeholder management.
