Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, accessing data via SQL queries, and report design.
• Basic knowledge of business functional areas and supporting application systems, technical platform capabilities, planning, conducting user interviews, data analysis, structural systems design methodology.

Responsibilities

• Responds to production problems or user calls, determines cause, resolves or obtains help, and instructs users or operations in the solution.
• Discusses program requirements with users and analysts, defines functional requirements and requests for new reports or enhancements.
• Writes program specifications and estimates resources for smaller enhancements.
• Codes programs from specifications, creates test plans, tests, and reviews results.
• Writes documentation or help screens for users and operations, and advises on system use.
• Projects involve data extraction, storage across files and databases, data presentation, and reporting.
• Attends training and meetings to keep up-to-date with the business and field.
• Identifies and responds to customer needs aligned with company goals.
