Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide inpatient rehabilitation team. You’ll evaluate and treat patients with speech and language challenges, developing personalized treatment plans and tracking progress in a supportive, technology-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification (Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology) completed.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
