Job summary

Encompass Health in Virginia Beach seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer speech and language therapy for patients across a caring continuum of care. Required are current licensure or state certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or must be obtained if not already held.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
