Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and communication challenges in a compassionate, home‑like environment. You’ll evaluate and design personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high‑quality care to the community.

Qualifications

State licensure required by state regulations.
CCC certification required by ASHA.
CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s degree with field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech and language treatment plans.
Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
Track and document patient progress and treatment response.
Celebrate patient victories and progress throughout care.
