Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Kentucky is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team in Independence, KY. This full-time opportunity includes weekend shifts Fri/Sat/Sun and part-time options, with a supportive environment and access to advanced therapy technologies.

You will evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or certification required.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
• CPR (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
