Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop personalized plans, document progress, and adjust therapies to maximize outcomes in a supportive inpatient/outpatient setting.

The role requires current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR within 30 days. A Master's degree is preferred, with a Bachelor's in a related field acceptable with experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required or pursued.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech therapy plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and treatment responses.
• Celebrate patient victories throughout therapy.
