Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students with communication needs. You will work closely with the supervising SLP to assist evaluation, intervention, and therapy in schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP to meet students' needs.
• Support setup and use of AAC devices and related tools.
• Document student progress and outcomes to inform IEP goals.

• Implement Therapy Plans:Execute therapy activities and intervention plans designed by the SLP to meet students' individualized needs.
• Monitor Communication Tools:Assist in the setup, use, and maintenance of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, ensuring effective functionality for students.
• Data Collection and Reporting:Record and document student progress, observations, and outcomes to support data-driven interventions and IEP goals.
• Collaborative Support:Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, such as IEP discussions, to contribute insights and advocate for students' communication needs.
