Job summary

Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to residents, including screening, evaluation, and personalized treatment plans.

You will work within a supportive therapy department to achieve positive communication and swallowing outcomes. The role requires active licensure, CCC-SLP as applicable, and collaboration with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current valid state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, and treatment planning.
• Discharge planning and supervision of assistants and rehab techs.
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate with Director of Rehabilitation and interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable and ensure quality outcomes.
