Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent SLP experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and recommend diet modifications.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and carryover techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress accurately in the medical record.
