Job summary

Atrium Health Physical Therapy, a facility of Carolinas Rehabilitation Charlotte, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for outpatient services. You will evaluate, plan, and administer SLP programs to restore function and independence for patients with neurological conditions under physician referral.

You will supervise rehab technicians and students, document evaluations and progress, coordinate schedules and discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (state license) required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises rehab technicians, students, and volunteers involved in administering care.
• Evaluates patients and develops care plans including modalities and exercises.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, discharge plans, and related charges.
• Re-evaluates patients as status changes and updates goals accordingly.
• Communicates progress to physicians and coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
