Job summary

Carolinas Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our inpatient program, collaborating with physicians, nurses, PTs, OTs, neuropsychologists, and case managers to support patients with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, oncology, amputee and general rehab. The SLP plans and conducts therapy to restore function and maximize independence.

The role includes evaluating patients, developing care plans, documenting progress, and coordinating treatment and discharge

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Applicable state license required.
• BLS certification per policy.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises rehab staff and students.
• Develops patient care plans based on diagnoses.
• Collects and interprets data from records and family.
• Documents evaluations, progress, and discharge notes.
• Relays evaluations and progress to physicians and staff.
• Coordinates schedule, treatment, and discharge planning.
