The Springs of Fort Smith is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current Arkansas SLP license required.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Provide speech language pathology services to residents in skilled nursing facilities
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Document resident progress and maintain accurate records
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech language pathology
