Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech Therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment.
• Conduct screenings of patients to determine need for intervention.
• Evaluate patients and develop data-driven treatment plans.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to patients, families, and team members.
• Establish patient schedules in collaboration with the care team.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve them.
• Coordinate treatment plan with patient, family, and team members.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as needed per physician orders.
• Instruct on augmentative communication devices to patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in discharge planning and community/home-based programming.
