Responsibilities

• Work with individuals to strengthen swallowing muscles and adjust diets as needed.
• Provide training and education to patients and families on therapy techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and teachers for coordinated care.
• Stay updated on research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
• Supervise assistants, students, or clinical fellows as required.
