Job summary

Classical Charter Schools in New York City is seeking a Special Education Teacher to deliver inclusive instruction for scholars with IEPs and 504 plans. You will develop daily lesson plans aligned to IEP goals, coordinate related services, and collaborate with the Scholar Services Team to monitor progress and adapt supports.

• Assist in development of standards-driven IEPs, maintain organized case files, ensure compliance, attend IEP meetings, collect progress data.
• Coordinate and monitor related services for scholars with IEPs.
• Provide teachers with academic differentiation strategies and interventions for struggling scholars.
• Receive ongoing feedback and support from administration and instructional leaders.
• Serve on Scholar Services Team and assist in evaluating students for special education services.
• Collaborate with leadership and committees to support all scholars to high standards.
• Assist in providing accommodations for English Language Learners and scholars with IEPs or 504s.
