Job summary

NBH Bank seeks a Specialty Banking Portfolio Manager I to help drive business development and coordinate with senior Portfolio Managers on national and regional prospects. You will also assist in presenting deals to credit officers and underwriting memos, while deepening client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years in specialty or commercial banking, a bachelor's degree, and strong credit knowledge with excellent communication and organizational skills. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in specialty or commercial banking.
• Related specialty banking or finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Specialty Banking business development and senior Portfolio Managers.
• Identify prospects, referrals, and coordinate marketing efforts with bank partners.
• Review and underwrite on pre-screen memos and loan presentations.
• Maintain client relationships and monitor operating performance for credit standards.
