Point Quest Group is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher in Apache Junction, AZ to lead a classroom serving students with diverse learning needs. You will develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with families, and oversee paraprofessionals in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities include aligning lessons to IEP goals, adapting curricula, and implementing PBIS with data-driven progress tracking while coordinating with related service providers and outside agencies.

Qualifikationen

• Arizona Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Aufgaben

• Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement and manage classroom PBIS program, including behavior tracking and parent communication.
• Supervise and direct paraprofessionals assigned to your classroom.
• Attend and lead IEP meetings; write updates and maintain compliant documentation.
• Conduct assessments and track student progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and outside agencies.
• Support implementation of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
