Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Special Education Teacher to join our staff in Santa Fe, NM. You will work in an amazing school and help students reach their potential in a bright, active, positive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Special Education Certificate per NM requirements.
• Experience with IEP writing and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student.
• Communicate with staff and family about progress.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled.
• Use reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
• Invite family participation in progress.
• Create and distribute quarterly progress reports.
• Coordinate with on-site therapist regarding behavior.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.
