Elwyn seeks a Special Education Teacher to implement IEP-driven instruction at the Davidson School in Pennsylvania. You will align lessons with PDE standards, modify instruction to meet individual goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with disabilities.

You will contribute to behavioral plans, document progress, and maintain strong communication with families and school staff while ensuring safety and confidentiality within a dynamic, mission-driven educational

Qualifications

• PDE Special Education certification, or eligibility for PDE emergency certification.
• Experience coordinating data collection and developing IEPs, including progress monitoring and positive behavior supports.
• Experience communicating with families, formally and informally, including engaging families in their child’s education program.
• Experience with adaptive technology preferred.
• Experience using electronic student records (PowerSchool) and IEP Writer preferred.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to IEP development, coordinating with the IEP team and school personnel.
• Develop, deliver, and differentiate instructional plans aligned with PDE standards and IEPs.
• Design and implement academic, behavioral, social, and communication accommodations.
• Assist students in developing work attitudes and life skills for post-school experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA/HIPAA and district policies.
• Supervise classroom staff and ensure clear daily assignments and accountability.
