Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and provide relevant learning experiences.
• Use research-based instructional strategies and promote higher-level thinking.
• Plan using state/local curricula to address differentiated needs of all students.
• Analyze student data to inform planning and instruction.
• Ensure full implementation of IEPs, including accommodations and BIPs for caseload students.
• Develop and monitor the IEP of each caseload student annually or as needed.
• Promote student learning with content-area strategies and active learning.
• Use assistive technology as directed by IEP and provide support to related staff.
