Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience with children (volunteer or paid).
• Advanced degrees may be considered for some experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities in general or special education settings.
• Support/student management and behavior monitoring.
• Prepare instructional materials and reports as requested.
• Supervise students and assist with individual or small-group instruction.
• May substitute as a teacher when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow written/oral instructions.
