Job summary

Madison Middle School in Boone County seeks a Special Education Aide / Instructional Aide / Bus Aide to provide instructional, behavioral, personal-care, and transportation support to students.

The role supports IEPs, health and safety procedures, and bus transportation duties. Applicants must meet WV qualifications, possess a high school diploma, and complete required training. This is a 200-day contract with a 7:00am-3:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Must meet West Virginia laws for service-personnel.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of required aide training.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification when required.
• Background checks and other employment requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and classroom support to individual students and small groups.
• Reinforce skills and assist with assignments.
• Prepare instructional materials and resources as directed.
• Assist with classroom organization and learning environment.
• Support students with mobility, personal-care, and transitions when needed.
• Assist with transportation and bus-related safety and supervision.
