Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 college credits required, or on-site assessment as an alternative.
• Wisconsin DPI Special Education Program Aide License (1015) or ability to obtain within district timelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied classroom and community environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Support & Academic Assistance: support 4K centers, literacy, and transition activities with individualized strategies.
• Behavioral Intervention & Student Supervision: implement behavior plans and supervise students during meals, recess, and field trips.
• Personal Care & Physical Assistance: assist with daily living tasks, equipment use, and mobility supports as needed.
• Data Collection & Documentation: record progress and communicate with families and teams; ensure FERPA/HIPAA compliance.
