Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Some prior experience with school-age children preferred.
• CPR, first aid and district approved behavior management techniques may be required.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license required.
• AA degree or 48 semester hours or willingness to take and pass WorkKeys exam.

Responsibilities

• Works primarily with students in special education and various programs.
• Present material to improve reading, writing, math, computers and vocational skills.
• Work individually or in small groups and record grades and data on progress or behavior.
