Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• Ability to convey information verbally and in written form for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of programming languages, development tools, and version control principles.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development and documentation of logical system requirements, scope objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
• Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications; write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary; design, run, and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for debugging and improvement.
• Aids in the compilation of procedures, manuals and forms to facilitate use and maintenance of programs by users.
• Performs application support functions as required to fulfill corporate and departmental goals and provides user support as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines at a project level; balance competing demands and responsibilities; identify importance and urgency of tasks.
• Promote teamwork, group goals and objectives, and maintain standards of respect, integrity, and trust within PowerSouth and with member systems.
