Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training/work experience for certification waivers under the DOI.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and reflect accommodations for diverse learners.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, materials, and technology suited to students' needs.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with staff and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Lead extracurricular activities as assigned by campus principal.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and manage student behavior.
