Travis County is seeking a Social Services Program Coordinator for Women, Children, and Families to develop and manage programs for incarcerated mothers and families. The role collaborates with community agencies, interns, and volunteers to improve client well‑being and family stability.

The ideal candidate will empower women, foster positive parental relationships, and champion compassionate care, advocacy, and innovative interventions. Department: Sheriff; Location: Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences and five years’ related experience, including program coordination.
• Certifications may be required: LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-A depending on department.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, supervise, train, monitor, and evaluate program activities and staff.
• Develop and revise program goals, work plans, and daily operations.
• Prepare proposals for funding and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Serve as liaison with community outreach and service providers.
• Plan educational sessions and community trainings.
