Job summary

INNOVATE REHAB AND WELLNESS seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing facility team in Center, MO. You will diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders, aiming to improve patient function and quality of life.

The role offers full-time hours with a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive compensation based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package starting day one.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program).
• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech‑language pathology.
