King Manor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to organize and conduct speech/language rehabilitation for our residents. You will lead therapy programs, assess, document progress, and collaborate with the rehab team to restore communication and swallowing function.

We offer a rate of $48/hour with a per diem $60/hour, full-time/part-time/per diem schedules, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in the state where required.
• Eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Responsabilités

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment goals and methods; documents services.
• Coordinates adaptive communication devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects activities suited to each resident’s abilities and interests.
• Collaborates with rehab team to determine the best therapy regimen.
• Instructs residents in skills for participation and monitors progress and attitudes.
• Adapts therapy program to individual needs.
• Attends care and staff meetings and contributes to care planning.
• Provides training to staff in speech therapy techniques and objectives.
• Supervises supportive personnel per state and professional standards.
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality, compassionate service.
