Job summary

Blue Water Post-Acute in Florida seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will evaluate residents, develop personalized plans, and provide direct therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing in collaboration with a interdisciplinary care team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in SLP and a Florida license with CCC-SLP preferred. Experience in long-term care or post-acute settings is a plus; EMR proficiency is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Current Florida SLP license or ability to obtain licensure before employment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred or eligible for certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy to promote communication, cognition, and safe swallowing.
